These imageries are intended to offer you a self-care tool that you can access at all hours of the day or night and that you can use in your own private space. This beautifully written book is a collaboration between Uprooted's Founder Dalia Davis and Mayyim Hayyim. The book is structured around the narratives of five biblical women and the contemporary issues they highlight. Each chapter explores various topics through personal stories, texts, prayers, guided imagery, rituals, and opportunities for personal reflection and healing. Uprooted is pleased to offer a series of holiday readings for anyone struggling along a fertility journey. These readings are especially intended for those who find the themes and social dynamics of holidays to be challenging or alienating. Contemplate Jewish texts and thought questions that connect aspects of the fertility journey with holiday themes. These readings are intended to help nurture emotional and spiritual healing.

For this program, we draw inspiration from the Chanukah menorah's Shamash candle: one flame lifting another out of darkness.
If you are currently on a fertility journey and are looking to speak with someone (1:1) who has gone through a similar experience, the Shamash program is for you.
The experiences of our available guides can be found below, by clicking on "Find a Guide." Please peruse this list before filling out this interest form. Our healing team will connect you with someone that we believe can serve as a your Shamash.
